A Car Accident Caused Me Constant Pain

I was in a car wreck about six months ago. My doctor told me that I would just have to work through the pain since I did not want to take prescribed pain pills. He did suggest that I get regular massages to help work lose the kinks that was causing a lot of the pain. I did that, and it did help a bit. However, the pain would never go completely away. My massage therapist told me that she could continue what she is doing but that I should really see a chiropractor in Santa Rosa.

She gets a lot of referrals from a local chiropractor, and she knew that one would be able to help me manage my pain a lot better. I finally made an appointment after a particularly bad night where I woke up crying twice from the pain. I was able to get in within a couple of days of calling, and it truly has been a blessing for me. The chiropractor did a physical exam first, then he did some imaging tests so he could get a good look of what was going on inside my body.

He told me that it was good that I was getting the massages, but I needed to have something more than that. He showed me where my spine was curved a bit, and that was the main reason why I was in so much pain. He told me that I probably would have been in this kind of pain eventually, even if I had not been in the car accident. He devised a treatment plan that day, and I had my first alignment done right then and there. I still get my massages, but that is because they feel so good. I rely on my chiropractor now for my pain relief!
